What we handle
Motorcycle accident situations we handle
- Driver turning left into a rider (the most common car-vs-motorcycle crash, per NHTSA data: about 42% of all car-motorcycle accidents)
- Lane-change crashes (driver fails to check blind spot)
- Rear-end collisions at a stop
- Distracted-driver crashes
- Drunk-driving crashes
- Single-bike crashes caused by poor road maintenance or defects
- Wrongful death cases
The offer
Don’t let insurance treat you like a “biker.” Get a lawyer who treats you like a victim.
Major insurance carriers paint all motorcyclists as reckless to justify lowball offers. That tactic only works on riders who don’t fight back. We do.

Motorcycle accident case
Our client was hit while riding and tried to negotiate with a rideshare company for over 18 months without a lawyer. He was only offered $15,000. One year after hiring Chris Mova, he secured the full policy-limit recovery plus an additional $100,000 from a second party.

“They’re saying it was my fault for lane splitting.”
Lane splitting is legal in California. Doing it does not automatically make you at fault. We push back on that defense regularly.

We come to you. Hospital, rehab, or home. Anywhere in California.

Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
I wasn’t wearing a helmet. Can I still recover?
Helmets are required in California, but not wearing one does not automatically end your case. It may affect head-injury damages, but you can still pursue compensation for other injuries.
How long do I have to file?
Two years from the date of the crash in most cases. Government-entity claims have a much shorter deadline.
What if I was lane splitting?
Lane splitting is legal in California. Doing it does not eliminate your claim. We handle that defense regularly.
How much is my case worth?
Depends on injuries, medical costs, lost income, and pain and suffering. Serious motorcycle injuries can be worth substantial amounts because the injuries are typically severe. We give you an honest range during your free review.
Will the insurance company try to blame me?
Almost always. That’s why you need a lawyer who knows how to defeat that argument. It’s what we do.
